Ross Kerkham
It is Blue Mountains Rugby Club’s distinct honour to announce at the 2024 Annual General Meeting, Ross Kerkham was unanimously voted in as one of two of our newest Blueys Life Members.
A second-generation Mountain Goat, Ross followed in his father Maurice’s footsteps at the turn of the millennium and went on to become one of Blueys greatest players of all time. A prolific try scorer from his preferred position on the wing, the Blaxland High sporting prodigy ranks at the impressive 4th place on list of all time Bluey’s Point Scorers.
Off the pitch, Ross served on our Committee in the early 2000s during which time he enjoyed a back-to-back stint as Club Captain. Showing great prowess with mic in hand, Scoe is still revered as one of the great Back to Lappo gameday commentators and MCs for any Blueys event.
To this day, Ross remains Blueys all time and 1st Grade leading try scorer with over 170 meat pies to his name. Though busier than ever, the family man never misses an old boys game to nab his obligatory 5 points for the year and soak in the memories of 18 playing seasons.
Still at a young age, Ross already leaves an impressive legacy with plenty of years to add to. Please join us now in congratulating Ross on his appointment and his epic playing career!
